From Sabers to Flags, Woodbridge High’s Two Color Guard Teams Rehearse for the New Season
These past few months, Woodbridge High’s varsity color guard team has been rehearsing with the Entertainment Corps for fall competitions and field season, while the Lake Winter Guard team has been preparing for their competition season in the spring
At Woodbridge High, there are two color guard teams. During the fall, the varsity team practices with the marching band and the dance team for Entertainment Corps competitions. The second team is called Lake Winter Guard. It was created last year as a way to get more people involved in the sport. It consists of high school and middle school students competing as a team during the spring against other color guard groups across southern California.
