K-pop has been taking the world by storm, and more people can now appreciate and enjoy the Korean language and culture. But the K-pop group that is the best at that job is Bulletproof Boy Scouts (BTS). Their enormous fanbase is called ARMY, found internationally on every continent.

ARMY, who always has BTS’ back, has continued supporting them throughout. According to CNN, the 7-boy band has had an advantage on their social media since ARMY “began to act as a network of unpaid translators, producing English subtitles and texts of their content, connecting BTS with their non-Korean speaking audience.” 

The visuals of BTS are also those to obsess over, as many members of BTS have been ranked “Most Handsome Man In The World” in recent years, including by The Business Standard. Their incredible physique also shows their dedication to a healthy and fit life, promoting healthy habits to their fans worldwide.

Regardless, their appearance is not the only reason for their success, according to Gulf News. The reason for BTS’ success is greatly due to the fact that “their songs inspire you to never underestimate yourself, to be proud of who you are. When the BTS [was] invited to the UN, they sent a message of hope for young people, with heartfelt messages of consolation and hope for youth and those against Asian hate crimes.”

BTS’ message is to always love yourself, unlike most K-pop groups. Most K-pop groups write songs about relationship love while BTS writes about mental health. K-pop Dance Club President Rosey Chang appreciates this aspect of BTS. Their music “gave me a healthy coping mechanism that I could not find before and made me love music even more… they set a good example for me regarding success. [BTS] become better people in the midst of their success,” Chang said.

BTS has shown their support and empathy for those in need multiple times. According to Grammy.com, in 2020, BTS “made a statement in support of BLM coupled with a donation of $1 million. This sparked fans to match their donation within a day.” 

All of their characteristics add up to make them one of the best boy bands to ever exist. But they are not the only good ones. Another K-pop band, Seventeen, is also popular. Many people around the world enjoy their music. 

K-Culture Club President Jenice Sung is a fan of Seventeen. She sees this band as a really popular group because “they produce their own songs and performances… [and] their lyrics [are] really meaningful and gave sympathy and comfort.” 

They have many achievements. These include their “2022 album, Sector 17, [which] is ranked fourth on the Billboard 200, and they continue to win the Worldwide Fan’s Choice award at the MAMA Awards,” Sung said. 

However, despite other K-pop groups’ popularity, BTS is a widespread favorite. For instance, K-pop Klub President Emily Purevtseren proudly declares: “My favorite group is BTS.”

According to Grammy.com, BTS has numerous awards including being “nominated for two GRAMMYs, they’ve charted four number 1 albums faster than any group since the Beatles and have broken 25 Guinness World Records.”

Overall, BTS is the best group, their talent, and amazing personalities just attract fans to them. 

According to StyleCaster, their next concert will be sometime in 2025 after they are all done with their mandatory military enlistment. Their concert in 2025 will be the best one ever after two years of waiting, tickets will sell out fast, even if they cost thousands of dollars.
