Bonjour!

Hello, Golden Arrow readers!

First off, I would like to welcome you to my column. It is here that I will discuss the oddities of my life as they occur. I originally pictured my series of columns as insightful, deep and thought-provoking, but I have a feeling that by the end of the year the theme will shift to me writing about my puggle, Turbo, more than anyone would care to read (even though he is pretty adorable.)  In order to prevent that from happening, I have made it my goal to gather and share as much inspiration as I can throughout the year. With that being said, here are some strange facts about me to help you get to know me a little better before you dive deeper into my mind.

– I am an English nerd. Math is a terrible thing. I don’t want to talk about it.

– I drive a 1967 Beetle and his name is Ray.

– I hate cats.

– “The Catcher in the Rye” is my favorite book. Don’t say mean things about Holden Caulfield; it hurts my feelings.

– I am an old soul; I’ve always felt a strong connection to those older and wiser than I, like teachers and authors. Basically, I never liked sitting at the kids’ table.

– I like to knit, but I’m not very good at it. I made half a sock this summer.

– I absolutely love fashion, and I think that clothing is the best form of self-expression.

Godspeed,

Noelle Roys
