The Bonafide Jewelry Club (BFJC) is aimed to provide students with recreation while also teaching useful skills in design and art. Students not only get to have fun and learn new skills but also have volunteer chances.
Students who join the club can expand their skill set, gain interest in the world of jewelry, and meet new people. They can also receive college recognition for club participation and is a great experience in general.
The club’s background resides with wanting to be a creative club and to provide fun for any students on campus who want to express creativity or just make jewelry.
“I remember like the moment I decided to create a jewelry club with my friends. “…I thought it would be fun to do with friends and have other people to do it with us and also to have like that extra spin of being able to give back to the community with one of our biggest hobbies,” said treasurer Hana Ali.
The BFJC is welcoming to everyone no matter skillset or experience. By joining, students will be introduced to the world of jewelry and be able to find a new hobby.
“I encourage anyone who is interested in jewelry making or giving back to the community to join BFJC! We would love to have you,” said secretary Ariella Pelton.
If you or anyone is interested in joining or checking out BFJC, meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of each month in L104 during lunch.
