“I wanna be the type of person that people know they can trust. I want people to know that they can come to me and talk about their life and how they feel. I would never want anyone to think they can’t trust or talk to me…I hope that I continue to work hard in the future and be proud of who I am. I think of success as accomplishing your goals while continuing to be true to yourself. If you have accomplished all of your goals but have lost yourself in the way, is it truly worth it? To achieve my goals I work hard and ask for help. I study or train like crazy when I want to succeed, and it works out for me. I ask for feedback from peers, teachers, and coaches to see how I can improve. In addition, I also make some time for me. I can study all I want and work all I want, but I still need to take a minute to breathe and be happy…” – Ina Alag

Mehrnoosh Hosseini is a kind, generous, person who loves to make others happy. She is someone who enjoys meeting new people to hear their story, and lift them up by sharing it. She started off as someone who didn’t like writing in general but as she found journalism she began to express herself and find new hobbies even saying that, “Journalism is such a good way to find out what you’re interested in.” She is motivated by those around her, including her sister and father who she looks up to.
