“Most of my extracurriculars I’m involved in are art and music stuff because I’m an artist and I’m a musician and I love doing either visual art or performing art, because I’m a very creative person. Right now, because it’s marching band season, marching band is taking up half of my time, since we have practice after school on Wednesday, football game is on Friday, and when competition seasons start, it’s gonna- we have to compete every Saturday. So I’m actually compromising my sleep in the fall season. What I realized that helped was my procrastination, though, that I can, at home, go straight to rest because I’m very exhausted from all the practices or school work I already have at school. So after school, I eat and sleep and I wake up the next morning with my brain fresh to do all the work. Well, my suggestion is that even though I am compromising my sleep, you should never compromise your sleep… because what I realized is I have experiences from earlier years that I slept two hours last night to just study for a biology test. But actually my brain just completely died off the next day… So yeah, junior year has been a very busy year for me, but I believe that I will manage it well.”
