Black Friday attracts eager shoppers nationwide.

Do you plan to undergo the dangerous battle against crazy shoppers in storefront battlefields on Black Friday? Follow these tips and you might just reach your goals.

1. Do your research

With Black Friday a little over a week away, all major stores have already published their planned sales. Go online, check newspapers and see what the best deals are for products you want.

2. Plan out your night and be early

Some stores open for Black Friday at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day this year, so plan out your night efficiently and you may even be home in time for that delicious turkey. Know what stores you are going to, what you are looking for and the best route to follow both in the store and between stores. In superstores like Wal-Mart and Target, where you can quickly get lost in a maze of shoppers and aisles, knowing your destination is crucial.

3. Beware of some sales

Many sales may appear to be dealmakers: gift cards with purchase, deals on accessories or deals on electronics that are soon to be out-of-date. Beware of some of these sales, for they may end up costing you more money instead of saving it. Stick to price cuts and try to buy your accessories online or when they get an even further price reduction in the future.

4. Do not underestimate the power of the Internet

In an age where anything can be found on the Internet, it is important to remember that you do not need to leave the comfort of your home in order to secure the best deals. Many online stores have Black Friday sales that go up at the same time the stores open or online exclusive Cyber Monday deals you can take full advantage of.

5. Spend wisely

The wonderland of sales may be an enticing pit to throw your money into, but remember: you do not have to buy everything you want that is on sale. Save your money and make sure you keep that wallet in tip-top shape.
