People can enjoy days at the Balboa Beach Fun Zone.

Balboa Fun Zone

Balboa Fun Zone is in Newport Beach. Not only can people have fun at the beach, but they can also enjoy activities such as parasailing, boat renting, whale watching, paddle boarding and sea doo riding. Visitors can also enjoy games at the arcade, ride the ferris wheel and bike around the beach. After enjoying these activities, people can easily find restaurants and ice cream stands for delicious meals.

Knott’s Berry Farm

Knott’s Berry Farm is not only an amusement park; it is also a water park during the summer. Knott’s Soak City is located right next to Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park. The water slides range from basic to menacing, so both children and adults can enjoy them. There are also cabana rentals and lazy rivers. The souvenir shop sells swimwear, toys, hats and other items that you might need at a water park.

Knott’s Berry Farm is a regular amusement park with everything from basic rides to scary rollercoasters for the most intense of adrenaline seekers. Even students afraid of rollercoasters can have fun with the carnival games, arcades, family rides and live entertainment. Funnel cakes are also a famous mouthwatering dessert at Knott’s Berry Farm enjoyed by thousands of visitors.

Orange County Great Park

Even though Orange County Great Park is in Irvine, many students are unaware about the different activities there. The Great Park is known for its orange hot air balloon that can be seen from anywhere in Irvine. The balloon goes up to 400 feet high in the air and is free for children under age six, costs $5 for children ages 6 to 16 and $10 for adults 17 years and older. They also have movies on the lawn on Fridays and Saturdays. The movie schedule can be found on http://www.ocgp.org/.
