The original “Poltergeist” (1982) movie is about a family of five whose youngest daughter is taken into a different dimension due to angry spirits wanting revenge. In detail, the movie’s sound and display quality was mediocre due to limited visual graphic aid. For example, the “monsters” were not as graphically advanced compared to the remake. There are several scenes that make the movie’s PG rating questionable, such as mature content. Overall, the movie having a great storyline, but lacks the high visual quality of the remake.
