“I want to become a fashion designer because it influences a lot of people around the world. It gives them a way to show their emotions– through clothing– and they can design things that really mean something to them. I want to start my own line where people can wear whatever they want and wear something that they’re comfortable with. Right now, I’m in a couple college classes to understand and know the business of how to market clothing and how to appeal to people’s tastes,” sophomore Esma Alkatib said.
