OC Fair- July 13 to August 12
The 2018 Orange County (OC) Fair will be back again this summer with the theme, “Free Your Inner Farmer,” featuring its classic carnival rides, exhibits, delicious food and unique shopping options. The fair will take place from July 13 to Aug. 12, with prices depending on the age and day of the guest. The fair will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, from noon to midnight on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to midnight on the weekend. The event will take place at the OC Fair and Event Center located at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa. Tickets are the same as last year, with individuals 13 to 59 years old costing $12 on weekdays and $14 on the weekend. Seniors (60+) and youth (6-12) are seven dollars every day.
OC Night Market- June 15 to June 17 & August 24-26
The OC Night Market is held over three weekends this summer in 2018, starting in late May. With new vendors and artists attending each year, the event is known for their delicious and unique Asian street snacks. The admission is $5 at the door (free for kids under age three). The OC Night Market takes place at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa, located at 88 Fair Dr Costa Mesa, CA 92626. The hours on Friday and Saturday are from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. On Sunday, the hours are from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Corgi Beach Day
The 2018 Summer Corgi Beach Day will occur on June 23, 2018 from 10am to 3pm at a new location in Huntington Beach. The coordinators have announced the new location to be near the Huntington State Beach Tower 14/15. The event is free to the public and will include numerous events, activities, contests, and of course, corgis! Some events include corgi talent contest, corgi costume contest and a best corgi butt contest.
Pageant of the Masters- July 7- Sept 1
The Pageant of the Masters showcases marvelous recreations of contemporary and classical works of art through real people posing to reflect renowned historical pieces. The experience also includes a professional orchestra, detailed sets and live narration, all made possible through dedicated staff and volunteers. The cost of tickets range from 15 dollars to 240 dollar if ordered in advance.The event takes place in an outdoor amphitheatre nightly from July 7 to September 1, starting at 8:30 p.m. The venue address is 650 Laguna Canyon Road Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
