“I’ve chosen to be very positive. Instead of looking at something negatively and being down  about it, I look at it like, ‘Okay, yes, this is kind of a thing that is not great, but it’s temporary right?’ … I just have to get through this hurdle and at the other end I’m gonna get through it and everything is going to be fine. It’s not about thinking that everything is rainbows and butterflies, because realistically, that’s not how life works. It’s about thinking, ‘Where can I find something good in every day?’ because there is something good in every day. … It’s about finding something that just motivates you and keeps you happy, and it’s the small things, like super small things. Like, I have a dog [who always] keeps me positive, because he’s so energetic that I look at him and think, ‘How could you be mad when like, look at this dog! He’s always happy all the time!’ … So don’t ever lose hope, and [things will] get better,” Wellness Coordinator Lauren Stallings said.
