“Choir is like a family. It’s really just like what they say. Like you just become part of it and you know where you belong to. And you find your way to express yourself and for me, of course, it’s super special because I’ve wanted to do that all my life. It has helped me a lot because when I came from Brazil, it was like a second home that helped a lot with my adaptation and everything around me. Choir is what I try to specifically focus on. I can relax when I’m in choir, and I just do what I really love doing. Any obstacles I have, I can talk to people and get around them,” junior Ana Carvalho said.
