“When I hear from either students or their parents that they now really enjoy English class, or they enjoy reading, whereas before my class they did not enjoy it, I feel proud that I got them going or showed them a love of reading or writing that they didn’t have before. It makes me feel really good that they enjoy the subject,” English teacher Jeff Alexander said.
