9040 STEAMpunks Alpha won 3rd place for the Inspire award. They also won the 1st place Compass Award, the 1st place Think Award for best robot design and 2nd Place Control Award for programming. Soon after, 9040 STEAMpunks Alpha competed at the Los Angeles Regionals on Feb. 24. They won the most individual awards out of 50 other teams: 1st place Promote Award, 2nd place Compass Award, 3rd place Think Award and 3rd place Connect Award.
