My name is Stella Ryu and I’m a freshman staff writer for the Golden Arrow. During my time in the Golden Arrow, I want to learn more about journalism. This includes specific skills such as formatting, photography, and publishing. I want to learn more about these skills because I believe they’d be useful to have in daily life as well as when pursuing a career related to news coverage. A relevant achievement includes the D.A.R.E essay contest where I received a certificate of recognition. I have a few hobbies such as listening to music, swimming, and art. I’d consider art as being my primary area of expertise, as I spend most of my time engaging with it through both traditional and digital mediums and being featured in three district honor art shows for the Young Masters Art Prize.
