Charlie Mabe, Beginning Journalist
My name is Charlie Mabe, and I am a ninth grader. My current position is a staff writer for the Golden Arrow. My personal goals are that I want to get closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I also want to be able to accomplish anything that I put my mind to, and lastly, I want to have a good football season statistically and team morale-wise. My professional goals are that I want to be an ESPN analyst like Stephen A. Smith and recently retired Hall of Fame player Shannon Sharpe. Although I am only a ninth grader and I cannot be hired by ESPN quite yet, I have had a YouTube channel in the past that was a podcast about sports, and I believe that will help me in the future with becoming an ESPN analyst. Some of my hobbies are sports, mainly football and basketball. I am currently on the football team for the Woodbridge Warriors, and I am loving it so far. I also love watching sports as well and collecting sports memorabilia, such as football and basketball cards and jerseys. Like I said earlier, my area of expertise was my YouTube channel.
