My name is Lena Kowsari and I am a freshman in high school. My current position in Beginning Journalism is a Staff writer for the Golden Arrow. My personal and professional goals are mostly  In my sport. I am really expecting to go D1 for volleyball and get into my college team. I think an accomplishment that I am really proud of right now is that I made JV as a starting outside on my school team and I am the only freshman. My hobbies and personal interests are mostly sports. Outside of volleyball, I love to play soccer and I love hiking and running as well. In school, a subject that I think I am more advanced in is math. In 6th grade, I was doing 7th grade level math, and in 7th grade, I started to work on 8th grade math and continued on into algebra 1.
