Megan Kosai, Junior
“I am inspired by my grandparents, both sides of my grandparents. My mom’s parents immigrated from Mexico, Guadalajara and my dads parents immigrated from Japan to America. So I think they definitely inspire me in seeing how they were able to transition so well and still pursue a lot of their dreams and be really successful here in america, where they are able to adapt to the culture and build their life here. If they didn’t immigrate here then it would be weird to think: then would I be here in the United States? Seeing the sacrifices that they made to give my parents a really great life and give them opportunity to succeed and accomplish their dreams is really inspirational to me,” junior Megan Kosai said.
